Experience:

Oleg joined ICMPD in April 2009. Since then, he took up different duties and positions, currently acting as the Head of the ICMPD'’ Global Initiatives.

During the period 2007-2009, he worked for the European Commission, EU Delegation to Moldova, as Program Manager for Justice and Home Affairs.

Prior to this, Oleg worked with the International Labour Organization (Migration Branch) as Project and Legal Assistant in Chisinau. During 2000-2003, Oleg worked as a Lawyer with Center for Prevention of Women Trafficking in Moldova.

Oleg holds an MA in International Public Law from the Moldova State University and a Post-graduate certificate in EU Migration Law and Policy (Université libre de Bruxelles). He also graduated from various courses on human rights, gender affairs, public law in Poland, Bulgaria, and Sweden.

Languages: Romanian - native, English, Russian, French (fluent) and Dutch (beginning level).

Oleg is based in Belgium.
